- Choose a classmate's Unit 2 project that you wish to pursue.
- Ungraded exercise: prepare a one-page statement of purpose, explaining why you have chosen this project to pursue and also explaining the direction in which you wish to take further research.
- Prepare interview questions for the person who began the project.

- Your statement of purpose
- Your interview questions
- A copy of your Unit 2 project
- A copy of your Unit 2 oral presentation
- Notes and sources from your Unit 2 research

Interview the person whose research you wish to continue
Provide detailed, concrete answers to the people who interview you
Offer advice to the people who will be following your research: alert them to important issues and pitfalls that they might encounter.
