Class adjourned
Class is dismissed for the remainder of the day and cancelled for next week. I'm hoping I'll be back on campus on 2/10. Meanwhile, there will be work to do; please check in with the blog regularly, and keep up with assignments.

We are very sorry we have annoyed you to this degree. We were just preparing to add you to our chat when you logged off. We have more of us in the same room now - and have found other parts of the group to the chat as we find them, and we'd like to continue class.. can we persuade you to rejoin us?

Don't worry, folks. The synchronous blogging just wasn't working for anyone, and your earnest attempts at alternatives were just causing me additional frustration. And I don't have the patience right now to work through other synchronous possibilities. So we'll go asynchronous till I'm back on campus. Stay tuned for bulletins.
