Grading
Your grade will be calculated from the following components:
24% Summarizing, reporting on, and leading class/blog discussion on two assigned books and chapters (6% per summary; 6% per leading class/blog discussion)
5% Statement of methods and/or preliminary bibliography for your research project
11% Annotated bibliography and/or research notes for your research project
20% Preliminary draft of research project
40% Final draft of research project
Your final grade will be reduced if you have submitted work late; if you have not fully contributed to the class; or if by May 1 you have not returned or replaced any books you may have borrowed from me.
