My Name is Jennifer Wingard. You Killed My Father; Prepare to Die.

Ok, I'm relly not going to kill anyone, but didn't I sound fierce.

I am a second year student in CCR, and my goal is to get out with a degree, certificate, and my sanity in four years. My areas of interest are global labor, alternative histories, ethnic rhetorics, and transnational feminism -- which I do believe is a method as well as a methodology, contrary to our esteemed professor :). I look forward to this course because, as a theory head, I enjoy conversations about methodoloy and how it can, or can't, be used for our own purposes.

Jen, will you describe to me the difference between method and methodology? (I hate asking this, as I'm sure it's a duh, but hit me anyway, ok?)

I am really excited about your project of incorporating transnational feminism as a methodology in comp studies-it seems as if that kind of work is long overdue--(particuarly revisionary work to second wave feminism:)

Jen! Can I talk with you about the whole TNFem thing? You may recall I took a class in it, but it was in the English department, taught by a professor who was new to the topic and the texts and I'd like to work more with it since globalization is in my academic future....Coffee? Lunch? Beer? let's talk!
