This is not intelligent text; it's merely a test

Graffiti Apologia
(watch out - it's a poem!)

Graffiti Apologia

Graffiti is a noble art
In which right many take a part,
But the commonest of all, I find,
Is the record of all those who mind
The things which other folks have writ-
Without regard for those folks' wit!

"Fool's names and fool's places"
Must be endured in public places,
Tis true! How doubly dreary, then,
To have to endure it when with pen
They mark themselves the dullest of all,
By old identifying scrawl!

If you decry my dogg'rel perverse,
At least condemn, please, in original verse!

I'm certain that I can do no such thing, responding in kind, but I am very pleased to read your writing. One of these days I will make it out on a Monday night to see you and the others at the open mic.

I look forward to it!
