"My professor is a total jerk"
Carolyn's allusion to self-gonging in her comments on another entry gives me pause. First let me say that I hope never again to have a car wreck at the beginning of a semester. Second let me say that if I do, I think I'll ask someone (probably the Beloved Partner) to become my spokesperson until I can regain enough semblance of coherence that I can at least take responsibility for my own actions. Which is not to say I'm not responsible for my own actions, much less that under normal circumstances I'm fully coherent and not a jerk. As if.
Anyhow. When I was trying to keep in touch with the course through the blog, I got really anal about who could post under what circumstances. >sigh< Those days are past. Anytime you feel like posting anything here—regarding comp history, your project, the state legislature of Montana, the relative merits of coffee at Dunkin Donuts, whatever—please do. B e m y g u e s t. And accept my apologies for Excessive Blog Hegemony. My bad.
P.S. Not to worry, Carolyn; I'm not accusing you of having said I was a jerk. I'm saying I'm a jerk.

Now wait just s durn minnit!
I gonged myself by transporting a side-issue to
the blog rather than blurting it out in class - a
necessary move in a class packed w/ smart people
with interesting things to say.
Yer welcome.
