Lessons in Feral Cat Feeding

  1. After you've fed them twice daily for several months, your pet ferals will become quite comforable with you, but they will never let you touch them.
  2. When mud puddles are available, you don't need to worry so much about keeping a bowl of fresh water out for your pet ferals. They'll choose the mud puddles over fresh water every time.
  3. In the evening, bring in the cat food. Otherwise, your Beloved Partner, as he returns from Friday night bowling, will get sprayed by a skunk who's chowing down on the remnant cat food. BP, who's a little skeptical of all this feeding of stray cats anyhow, will not be amused. At all.
