Lessons in Feral Cat Feeding
- After you've fed them twice daily for several months, your pet ferals will become quite comforable with you, but they will never let you touch them.
- When mud puddles are available, you don't need to worry so much about keeping a bowl of fresh water out for your pet ferals. They'll choose the mud puddles over fresh water every time.
- In the evening, bring in the cat food. Otherwise, your Beloved Partner, as he returns from Friday night bowling, will get sprayed by a skunk who's chowing down on the remnant cat food. BP, who's a little skeptical of all this feeding of stray cats anyhow, will not be amused. At all.
