My hermitage
I feel as if I am literally living in an ivory tower, as my world shrinks and shrinks. I'm not on campus at all and won't be for the entire summer, with the exception of the day on which academic review occurs. I'm not reading any books, except novels at bedtime. I'm reading email only sporadically, and I'm not in IM at all. I've pretty much quit reading newspapers. My world is life inside this house, as I write, write, write. I ride my bike, I blog, I get my weekly massage and manicure. The rest is the handbook.

Something felt strange and alienating. Hope your book work is going well.

Methinks I need to do a bit better at letting others know when I'm not just saying I'm going to be monotasking but actually doing it!
