I must confess that I have a weakness for Tabby cats.

And as of today, he's now curling up in the window baskets that are under practically all our windows. (No, we're not cat crazy or anything.) That takes confidence, and after three weeks indoors, he already has enough confidence for sleeping in a basket.

And for those who, like Heliologue and me, have a weakness for tabby cats: on his trunk the stripes are soft and blurry; on his legs, they are crisp and striking; and on his tummy, they become two rows of spots, running from front to back. I can't wait to get my hands on this cat and pet him! But yes, I am waiting, and I do know that it could take months before he has that much confidence.
