Bush on a bike

Okay, everybody knows that Bush likes to cycle. I'm not sure everybody knows he also crashes—in Scotland and in Texas. Having taken a few spills myself, I can't make too much fun of him for it. Still, there is something deeply satisfying in seeing that he really does illustrate the results of the expressions "doing a face plant" and "doing a header."

And I do have a question. WHY IN HELL is there a Yahoo logo on the man's helmet? Don't worry about the "Giro"; that's the brand of helmet. But Yahoo? Is the President, like, a sponsored cyclist? Did he join a damn team? Or did he get a freebie helmet from the Yahoo folks? Holy crap, is the president shilling for corporations while in office?

Hmmm... glad you never saw me in my Sammontana-Bianchi jersey back in the 80s... (though at least I was riding a Bianchi!)

LOL. YOU are authorized to shill for corporations, cuz you are (alas) not President of the US. And actually, wearing a Bianchi jersey whilst cycling is not shilling for corporations in the way it would be if, say, your jersey were advertising Tommy Hilfiger. Moreover, riding a Bianchi? Yessss.
