I love this movie—just like, apparently, millions of other women. And as I read this article, I realize why I love the movie: because I am married to Lloyd Dobler. Have been with him for nearly 30 years. And yes, life with Lloyd Dobler is every bit as good as it's cracked up to be. Even if you're not Diane Court.

Awesome. You do have to understand, BTW, that when Lloyd Dobler reaches the age of 54, he is bald and has a big bushy grey beard. He's still Lloyd, though! —and still pretty darned cute.
